Industrial Engineer World Class Manufacturing Salary $65,000 - $80,000 Range. Plus Bonus and Excellent Benefits World Class manufacturer of automotive parts in the Southeast is looking for an Industrial Engineer. This position will be handling everything from line layout and time studies, to extensive cost cutting measures. This individual will be responsible for data analysis, organization charts, and project information to determine the responsibilities of workers and work units. The preferred candidate will have a demonstrated ability in performing time and motion studies, developing and documenting standard work, planning and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and preparing statistical analysis and project management. This position will be responsible for conducting employee training and assisting with Green Belt projects. You must also have knowledge of raw materials, production processes, design techniques, tools and technical plans. You should have knowledge of costs and other techniques for maximizing the effectives of manufacturing and the distribution of goods. The preferred candidate will have technical knowledge regarding Continuous Improvement methodologies and be able to demonstrate problem solving and planning in the use of JDE, Access and/or Crystal reporting. Excellent interpersonal skills and able to effectively communicate with and build strong working relationships with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization. Other experiences should include SPC, CAD and high volume manufacturing processes. Location is in a charming city in the Southeast. Great access to universities, dinning and outdoor activities.
